Do I realy need a web site?

If your customers are searching for your services online and you don't have a web site (or your web site is out of date), what can you do?

Our services include: domain registration, hosting, email, web site design, and site promotion. If you require a new site we can research for a suitable domain name and register it on your behalf. We can also organise the hosting of your site, the set-up and the configuration of your email accounts.

Additionally, we can provide keyword research, competition analysis and search engine optimisation.

While designing web site, we work closely with our clients, we will make design suggestions (where appropriate) to help you to meet your objectives. Existing imagery can be incorporated, including business cards or stationary headers.

What should be considered before beginning a web design project?

There are some basic points to consider prior to agreeing a web design project with a company or designer. It is important to think of the following:

1. Who is the target audience

2. What is the objective of the web site?

3. Where will the content come from? (Text, images, logos and photos etc.)

4. Who will I ask to build the site, and do they have a portfolio of satisfied clients?

One key question to ask when designing a new web site is what would our customers want it to look like? It is important to construct your web site with the view of the end user.

Is a database required?

Databases are ideal for organisations that need to offer a large choice of products or services to customers over the Internet. For estate agencies for example, if a large number of properties need to be listed and changed regularly then a database is likely to be required. For less than one hundred properties of which only a few are likely to be changed on
say a quarterly basis then a database is unlikely to be necessary.
